Jakarta, Oct 28 – Indonesia’s Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin met with India’s Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan in Jakarta to discuss ways to enhance defence cooperation between both countries. The meeting included talks on collaboration in military medicine training programs for Indonesian National Armed Forces. The Defence Minister expressed gratitude for India’s hospitality during his visit to the Republic Day Parade. The CDS’s official visit aims to strengthen defence ties between India and Indonesia, including meetings with top military officials. General Chauhan will visit key defence industry establishments to boost cooperation.
