Ceará x Botafogo: Arthur Cabral fractures hand, Nathan Fernandes injured, and Savarino is absent; see squad list

Botafogo released the squad list for the match against Ceará with new absentees. Arthur Cabral, Savarino and Nathan Fernandes will miss the game this Sunday (10/19), at Arena Castelão, for the 29th round of the Brazilian Championship. According to the club, Arthur Cabral fractured his right hand against Flamengo and will be reevaluated weekly with imaging exams to monitor the bone healing process. Nathan Fernandes, recovered from arm surgery, suffered a muscle injury in his right thigh during Thursday’s training session and will be out for six to eight weeks. Savarino is absent due to muscle pain. Other absences include: Neto, Kaio Pantaleão, Bastos, Alex Telles, and Danilo (injured), Álvaro Montoro and Jordan Barrera (Under-20 World Cup), and Alexander Barboza and Marlon Freitas (suspended). Returning to the squad list are goalkeeper Cristhian Loor, right-back Vitinho (who was with the Brazilian National Team), midfielder Newton (who served a suspension), and forward Kadir from the Under-20 team.
