Inter returns from Salvador with another worrying result. Defeated 1-0 by Vitória on Wednesday night at Barradão, the Colorados saw the gap to the relegation zone narrow to just three points, joining the fight against relegation in the Brazilian Championship. The team’s performance was once again well below expectations. Both individually and collectively, Inter failed in Salvador. Here are the player ratings: Ivan – Had no fault in the goal and made an important save early in the second half. Rating 6. Vitão – Continues to be one of the few defensive references for the Colorados. Rating 5. Juninho – Lost three duels to Lucas Halter. In the third, Inter conceded the goal. Rating 4. Clayton Sampaio – Showed insecurity and difficulties in marking. Not fit to play for Inter. Rating 4. Óscar Romero – Came on late and added absolutely nothing. Rating 4. Vitinho – Is brave and gives his all, but needs to play closer to goal. Being played as a wingback is a mistake. Rating 5. Raykkonen – Came on late and barely touched the ball. No rating. Bruno Gomes – Missed many passes at first, then improved a bit, but still below expectations. Rating 4. Bruno Henrique – Came on in the second half to try to strengthen the offense, but also couldn’t change the scenario. Rating 4. Thiago Maia – Fought hard in the first half, made passes, but looked tired. Rating 5. Luis Otávio – Came on in the second half to reinforce the defense when Inter was already open and desperate. No rating. Bernabei – Showed good physicality and tried to support the attack, but was limited in his actions. Rating 4.5. Tabata – Being a starter instead of Carbonero is incomprehensible, especially given the team’s current situation. Rating 4. Gustavo Prado – Came on at halftime to try to provide speed down the right, but had little effectiveness. Rating 5. Alan Patrick – Tried to lead the team, but is overwhelmed. Without support, he fought as long as he could. Rating 5. Ricardo Mathias – Made many passing errors and couldn’t contribute offensively. Rating 4. Carbonero – Provided more depth and movement in the attack. Should have started the game. Rating 6. Ramón Díaz – Made mistakes in the lineup and substitutions. The team did not progress under his command. Rating 2.
