During a visit to China, the new head of Stellantis, Antonio Filosa, received a harsh signal from local authorities. According to Automobilwoche, he was urged to speed up the production of electric vehicles for the world’s largest market. Filosa promised to work more actively with the authorities. The Chinese government has been pushing for a faster transition to electric vehicles to combat pollution and reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
