China Opposition to Ban: Belgium, Egypt to Export Artifacts – Central Government

India has been informed by the central government about the import of artifacts from countries such as Belgium, Egypt, Morocco, Germany, and the United States. In recent months, it is reported that foreign companies are increasing their exports of artifacts from other countries due to China’s ban on imports. Efforts are being made by research institutes like the Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR) and academic institutions to create nano and bio-artifacts for these imported artifacts, which will help in reducing the dependency on imported artifacts and boost local production. The current initiative focuses on reducing the import of artifacts by conducting research and producing artifacts domestically.
