China’s Shenzhou-20 Astronaut Crew Successfully Completes Third Extravehicular Activity

China’s manned space engineering office reported that on August 15, the Shenzhou-20 astronaut crew successfully completed their third extravehicular activity, lasting about 6.5 hours. Astronauts Chen Dong, Chen Zhongrui, and Wang Jie worked closely together with the space station’s robotic arm and ground research personnel to fulfill their mission. They safely returned to the Tianhe module, marking a successful outing. The preparation for this activity saw the ‘Wukong AI’ model, carried by the Tianzhou-9 cargo craft, providing valuable assistance to the crew’s on-orbit work, enhancing their efficiency and safety.
