Colombian filmmaker Simón Mesa continues to add to his accolades post-Cannes, as he secures the best feature award at the 21st Santiago International Film Festival (Sanfic) in Chile. The festival’s closing ceremony took place on August 23, where Mesa also shared the best director award ex aequo with another filmmaker.
