Colombia’s Simón Mesa has once again proven his talent by winning the best feature award at the 21st Santiago International Film Festival (Sanfic) in Chile. The event concluded on August 23 with Mesa also receiving the best director award tied with another filmmaker. Alongside Mesa, other notable films like ‘South of Winter, Lies the Snow,’ ‘Zafari,’ ‘La Quinta,’ ‘Black Cocaine,’ ‘Africa Express,’ and ‘The Bustamante’ were also recognized with important awards at the festival.
