On the morning of September 30th, Chinese leaders including Xi Jinping, Li Qiang, Zhao Leji, Wang Huning, Cai Qi, Ding Xuexiang, Li Xi, Han Zheng gathered at Beijing’s Tiananmen Square to attend a ceremony honoring the martyrs. This is Xi Jinping organizing the ribbons on the wreath. Casualties of the past, loyalty to the motherland, sacrifices made for the greater good, all remembered on Martyrs Day, paying tribute to the heroes who fought for the nation’s freedom and prosperity.
