In the first three quarters of this year, the Renault Group sold 1.7 million vehicles, showing a 3.8% growth compared to the same period last year. Specifically, 1.17 million Renault cars, 521.4 thousand Dacia vehicles, and 7.4 thousand Alpine cars were sold.
France remains the leading market for Renault Group, with 393 thousand vehicles sold. The top five key markets also include Italy (144 thousand), Spain (128 thousand), Turkey (110 thousand), and Germany (108 thousand).
The Russian market stopped being a priority for Renault since the spring of 2022. During the first nine months of 2025, only 10 new Renault passenger cars and 3 Dacia cars were registered in Russia. In the entire previous year, 268 units were registered. Renault sales volume in 2023 was 4,769 units, and in 2022, 40,843 units.
The most successful years for Renault in Russia were 2013 and 2014 when 202 thousand and 198 thousand new passenger cars were sold, respectively, according to the expert.
Throughout the company’s presence in the Russian market, Renault has sold 2.17 million vehicles. In terms of total sales volume, the brand ranks third after KIA (2.63 million) and Hyundai (2.62 million).
