A fire broke out in the Blue Zone of COP30 in Belém, Pará, on Thursday afternoon. The fire caused chaos in the restricted access area, dedicated to official negotiations between countries, and the location was evacuated by the security team. According to the Minister of Tourism, Celso Sabino, the fire has been contained and there are no injuries. The fire started in one of the pavilions, near China’s booth, and the state fire department was quickly called in. There is still no information on how the fire started.
