Corinthians secured a 2-1 victory against São Paulo on Saturday (22) in the first leg of the Paulista Women’s semi-final. The match took place at Arena Barueri and was broadcasted by UOL. Jhonson opened the scoring for Timão, while Giovanna Crivelari equalized in the first half. Towards the end of the game, the Corinthians’ forward found the net again to secure the win. The Tricolor had the chance to score another goal from a penalty, caused by Isa Guimarães, but Karla Alves missed the opportunity. The penalty was poorly taken, and goalkeeper Lelê made a save.
