The corporate radar this Monday (22) highlights Cosan’s (CSAN3) agreement to raise about R$ 10 billion. Cemig (CMIG4) homologated a R$ 1.25 billion labor agreement on health plans. Cosan (CSAN3)
Cosan (CSAN3) has closed an agreement to raise about R$ 10 billion to improve the finances of the Brazilian conglomerate, which is facing difficulties. BTG Pactual Holding, whose partners include billionaire Andre Esteves, will invest R$ 4.5 billion, while the Perfin Infra fund will contribute another R$ 2 billion, Cosan said in a statement. The funds will be used to reduce the company’s leverage.
Cemig (CMIG4)
The Cemig (CMIG4) reported that the agreement reached with the Union of Electricity Workers of Southern Minas Gerais (Sindsul) and the Federation of Urban Industries Workers of Minas Gerais (FTIUMG) in the context of the collective labor dispute over the health plan has been approved.
The settlement provides for compensatory damages of up to R$ 1.25 billion, to be paid in six installments until 2030, covering 15,496 retirees, pensioners, and active employees linked to Cemig Saúde’s PSI health plan in February 2025.
Azul (AZUL4)
Azul (AZUL4) participated in a hearing before the Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of New York to evaluate petitions related to its US Chapter 11 bankruptcy process.
Suzano (SUZB3)
Suzano (SUZB3) will, on September 26, 2025, redeem the unsecured simple debentures, not convertible into shares, of the 8th issue, identified by the code SUZB18, with maturity set for September 15, 2028. The redemption will be made by paying the total remaining principal amount of R$ 750 million, corresponding to the balance of the nominal unit value of all debentures, plus interest.
JHSF (JHSF3)
JHSF (JHSF3) concluded the issuance of Simple Debentures in its 18th offering, in a public distribution aimed at professional investors in the amount of R$ 300 million, clean, with an average term of 4.3 years.
