An inquest has heard about the ‘tragic accident’ in which a Plymouth woman, Christina Quinn, along with two other British nationals, Steven Hill and Paul Darling, died in a boat fire off the coast of Egypt on June 11, 2023. Limited information has been obtained regarding the cause of the blaze, as stated by a coroner in the hearing at Kent and Medway Coroner’s Court. The 73-year-old Steven Hill from Ashford was described as a kind and loyal man. The three victims were staying in their rooms on the scuba vessel while the other passengers were diving when the fire broke out.
