The premium segment of the Russian market showed an interesting dynamic at the end of autumn: Mercedes-Benz notably increased its registrations in November. Analysts reported 1160 new registrations of Mercedes cars in the month, a 107.5% increase compared to November 2024 when only 559 cars were registered. The growth throughout the year until November 2025 was more steady but consistent with a 26% increase, totaling 7985 new Mercedes-Benz registrations.
The demand structure speaks for itself: most sales are of SUVs, crossovers, and prestigious models that typically uphold the brand amidst uncertainties in official deliveries. The most popular model in November was the G-Class with 200 registrations, followed by the GLC (181 units), GLS (157 units), and GLE (141 units). The GLC Coupe (119 units), E-Class (117 units), and GLE Coupe (109 units) also made it into the top rankings. Other models are also present in sales but in significantly lower numbers.
The November results confirm two trends. Firstly, Russian Mercedes-Benz buyers are currently favoring the ‘high-end’ segment, with crossovers being more practical for everyday use and Russian winters. Secondly, the G-Class remains a symbol of status, as even amidst overall growth, it regained the top spot in the brand’s model ranking.
