Cultural Revival in the Bay Area – Overview of the 17th Zhongshan Book Fair

The 17th Zhongshan Book Fair concluded on August 19th, after five days of the 2025 Southern Book Festival in Zhongshan. The event, themed ‘Literary Bay Area, Global Vision, Shared Future,’ attracted over 100,000 visitors and recorded a total sales of 6 million RMB, with book sales exceeding 4 million RMB. As one of the key branches of the Southern Book Festival and a significant cultural landmark in the Bay Area, this edition of the Zhongshan Book Fair was not only a celebration of reading, but also a practical example of spiritual enrichment for all and integration in the Bay Area, showcasing the unique charm and solid achievements of Zhongshan’s ‘Cultural Revival’ strategy. From ‘Literary City’ to ‘Shared by All’: Establishing a model of cultural inclusivity in Zhongshan.
