Cyclone Montha: On Sunday, the low-pressure area formed over the Bay of Bengal intensified further into a deep depression. It is slowly progressing towards the eastern coast, prompting the Odisha government to issue alerts for all 30 districts. West Bengal is expected to be affected by the cyclone. Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh government has prepared an action plan for relief and necessary preparations for the arrival of Cyclone Montha. Military teams are also on alert.
