Three days after a high-intensity blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, which killed ten and injured over twenty, intelligence agencies disclosed a larger terror plot. Suspects planned to use 32 old vehicles with explosives for coordinated attacks. The blast occurred outside Lal Quila Metro Station, igniting a fire and destroying vehicles in a heavily guarded area. Multiple agencies, including the NIA, are investigating the incident as a terror attack. Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the injured at LNJP hospital and the Union Cabinet termed the blast a terror incident, vowing zero tolerance for terrorism.
