As the world grapples with technological advancements, the impact of climate change, and geopolitical shifts, an increasing number of students and families in Southeast Asia and the Pacific are opting for an international education to prepare for the challenges of the future. Cambridge International Education (Cambridge) has started releasing the results of its June 2025 exam series to over 680,000 students worldwide, showing a 9% increase from the previous year. This trend highlights a growing demand for global readiness in education. In the SEAP region, there were over 165,000 entries for Cambridge qualifications in June 2025, a nearly 4% rise compared to June 2024. This rise reflects a surge in demand in key markets such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand. With the number of exam entries reaching nearly 1.7 million globally this June, a 7% increase from last year, it underscores not just the academic excellence of Cambridge programs but also a shift towards valuing education that cultivates global skills, adaptability, and critical thinking on real-world issues.
