Spartak Moscow football club announced the departure of Deyan Stankovich as head coach. The club’s management was not satisfied with the team’s position in the RPL standings, leading to the decision to part ways with the Serbian coach. ‘At the moment, Spartak is in sixth place in the RPL standings, which is not satisfactory to the club’s management. After discussions with Stankovich, it was decided to end the cooperation by mutual agreement,’ the press release stated. Stankovich had been in charge of Spartak since the summer of 2024. In the 2024/25 season, the team finished fourth in the Russian championship.
