Deceased last Saturday (11), actress Diane Keaton finally had the cause of her death revealed. The New Hollywood icon was 79 years old. In a conversation with People magazine, the Keaton family stated that Diane died of pneumonia on October 11. ‘The Keaton family is very grateful for the extraordinary messages of love and support received in the past few days on behalf of their beloved Diane, who passed away from pneumonia on October 11,’ they wrote in a statement. ‘She loved her animals and was firm in her support of the homeless community, so any donation in her memory to a local food bank or an animal shelter would be a wonderful and much appreciated tribute to her’, the text concludes.
