The Pyramid of Menkaure, one of Egypt’s iconic pyramids, may hold a hidden secret, experts reveal after detecting mysterious ‘anomalies’. Built around 4,550 years ago for Pharaoh Menkaure, this pyramid is the smallest of the three main pyramids at the Giza site. Detecting signs of a possible second entrance has been a long-standing hypothesis, but recent discoveries have provided solid evidence. Using advanced radar and ultrasound technology, researchers identified hidden air-filled voids on the eastern side of the pyramid. These anomalies, located beneath the polished stones, have piqued the interest of the scientific community. The polished stones, resembling those at the main entrance on the north side, cover an area around four meters high and six meters wide.
