Domestic Violence: Husband Killed Pregnant Wife

A young woman, who got married against her parents’ wishes, lost her life at the hands of her husband at the age of 21. She was five months pregnant at the time of her murder. The brutal incident took place in Boduppal, Hyderabad, and has left the community in shock. The couple had only been married for three months before the husband committed this heinous act of domestic violence, which included assaults and a case of domestic violence filed by the wife. When asked about her intentions to visit her parents, the husband implemented a plan to kill her. He strangled her to death and disposed of her body in a canal within three hours of her murder.
