The agency mentioned that the recall was launched in collaboration with the company following tests that identified an issue in the lithium-ion battery, potentially causing overheating and ignition. Consumers were advised to cease using the product right away, disconnect it from any power source, and store it safely away from flammable materials. Belkin is offering full refunds or replacement units and has urged users to contact authorized service centers promptly to handle the recall process efficiently.
