Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty engaged in discussions with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Gross to explore strategies for enhancing regional security and stability by finding peaceful solutions to Iran’s nuclear issue. According to Egypt’s Foreign Ministry, Abdelatty conversed separately with Araghchi and Grossi over the phone to monitor developments in Iran’s nuclear program. The talks were centered on supporting regional security through peaceful resolutions to the Iranian nuclear matter, emphasizing the significance of dialogue between Tehran and IAEA, as well as expanding cooperation based on the Cairo agreement signed on Sept. 9.
