Egypt Seeks More Foreign Shoots

The Egypt Film Commission is working towards increasing foreign shoots in Egypt after successful productions like Guy Ritchie’s ‘Fountain of Youth’ and Mr. Beast’s online video at the Giza Pyramids. Line production for these projects was managed by various local production companies. The EFC has assisted over 90 international productions since its inception in 2019. The commission highlights Egypt’s historical landscapes, urban backdrops, local crews, and facilitation environment as major attractions for filmmakers. The EFC is collaborating with international markets like China, India, and Africa to foster co-productions and expand Egypt’s global positioning in the film industry.
