Egypt signs contract for 2 GW solar cell and panel complex

Investors from Egypt, China, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates have signed a land-use contract for a massive solar project in Egypt. The project will consist of a 2 GW solar cell and 2 GW panel complex with 1 GWh of storage capacity. The initiative, named Atom Solar Egypt complex, will be a fully integrated industrial solar facility. This collaboration marks a significant step towards renewable energy production in the region, with multiple countries joining forces to drive sustainability. Construction of the complex is expected to commence soon, with the aim of boosting solar energy output in Egypt.
