Zamalek have decided to part ways with Belgian coach Yannick Ferrera after a 1-1 draw against National Bank of Egypt, which prolonged the team’s winless streak in the Egyptian Premier League to four matches. Ferrera, aged 45, took on the coaching role in July, following successful stints in his native Belgium, such as winning the Belgian Cup with Standard Liege and guiding Sint-Truiden to promotion. He also had managerial experience in Saudi Arabia. Despite initial high hopes at the 14-time domestic champions, Ferrera encountered challenges in delivering consistent results.
