The mayor of Romny, in the Sumy region in northern Ukraine, reported an ‘emergency military situation’ on Facebook. He stated that damage to infrastructure has been recorded, but did not specify the exact nature of the damage. ‘A headquarters will be set up to eliminate the consequences. Communal enterprises and relevant services are involved in dealing with the emergency military situation on site,’ added the city mayor.
