Emotional vows, two-in-one dress, tower of glasses… What went down at Giovanna Ewbank and Bruno Gagliasso’s wedding

Bruno Gagliasso and Giovanna Ewbank celebrated their 15 years of union with a ceremony this Saturday (9). The event took place at the couple’s ranch in the countryside of Rio de Janeiro (see photos of the main moments below).
The vow renewal was led by Pastor Henrique Vieira. The groom walked down the aisle accompanied by their 12-year-old daughter Titi, who was very emotional. Meanwhile, Giovanna walked alongside Bless, 10, and Zyan, 5. During the party, the couple toasted in front of a tower of champagne glasses.
Vows
The bride gave an emotional speech at the altar: ‘I promise to keep celebrating life by your side, finding new ways to love, laugh, and dream. Bruno, with you I learned that love is not just a feeling, it is living. And living by your side is damn good. And today, this is my favorite place. I love you.’
Bruno also declared: ‘Every day, from the moment I wake up until I fall asleep, I am amazed at how beautiful you are. In fact, I think ‘beautiful’ is the word I’ve used the most in these 15 years. Looking at us, our story is proof that the cliché is real. I say without fear: ‘Only love builds.’ It was with you that I discovered what true love is. And it was through love that we built our family and who we are.’

The party featured special musical performances. Feyjão, Maria Gadú, and Francisco Gil sang on stage. Carolina Dieckmmann paid tribute to Preta Gil along with the singer’s granddaughter, Sol de Maria.
Two-in-one dress
The outfits for the celebration came from abroad and were selected by stylist Pedro Sales. The wedding dress is from Turkish designer Dilara Findikoglu. After the ceremony, Giovanna removed the train and opted for a shorter skirt to enjoy the party. She also put on boots.
Absence
Fernanda Paes Leme, who has known the couple for years, did not post photos of the ceremony and did not appear in the guests’ posts, which caught the attention of those who followed the event on social media. Last month, the actress spoke on her podcast about the distance between them: ‘We clearly drifted apart, and I never directly talked about it, but there was no fight. There were a lot of little things, different affinities, different moments, and different sensitivities too.’
On the web, there were many comments about the fact that the actress was left out of the first wedding in 2010. This was also a topic in the 2022 podcast ‘Quem pode, pod,’ which Giovanna and Fernanda co-hosted. Fernanda said she ended up ‘displaced’ and was hurt by the actor, whom she was friends with before Giovanna arrived.
Since last week, Fernanda has been dedicated to rehearsals for the new edition of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and will perform live on Luciano Huck’s show this Sunday (10).
Bouquet
Bruna Marquezine tried to catch the bouquet, which ended up being caught by a friend of the couple. In a video circulating on social media, she jokes about only getting a small part of the arrangement.
