Ethiopia and Russia signed an agreement to construct a nuclear power plant in Ethiopia. The deal was finalized between the Ethiopian Electric Power Company and the Russian state-owned entity, Rosatom, at the nuclear energy forum in Moscow. The cooperation aims to enhance Ethiopia’s energy infrastructure. Meanwhile, Niger also revealed plans to collaborate with Rosatom for their own nuclear plant during the same forum.
