ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia (AP) — Fanuse Adete is among those Ethiopians eagerly anticipating the full operation of the Grand Renaissance Dam, which will be officially inaugurated on Tuesday. The 38-year-old farmer is hopeful that the dam will grant him access to the national electricity grid. The project, located along the Blue Nile, is expected to generate more than 5,000 megawatts of electricity, with some of the output designated for export to neighboring nations.
