Britain, France, and Germany have informed the United Nations of their readiness to reimpose UN-mandated sanctions on Iran regarding its nuclear program if a diplomatic solution isn’t reached by the end of August. This joint declaration was conveyed in a letter obtained by AFP. The communication, addressed to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the UN Security Council, emphasizes the trio’s commitment to employing all available diplomatic tools to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon if Tehran fails to meet the deadline.
