Chinese automaker BYD has announced its largest recall yet – more than 115,000 Tang and Yuan Pro cars will be returned due to identified issues with the design and battery modules. According to the State Administration for Market Regulation, the recall was initiated because of potential safety risks following an investigation. The affected vehicles were manufactured between 2019 and 2021. It is reported that around 10% of the recalled vehicles have experienced issues with the battery design.
