Exclusive Blood Moon Parties in Chennai for Stargazers

Heading out of Chennai for an exclusive event. On September 7, a group of stargazers from the Chennai Astronomical Club (CAC) will gather at a farm in Maduranthakam, two hours away from Chennai, for a private Blood Moon watch. The event is exclusive to CAC members only due to limited space and police permission issues. The night will begin with a talk on astronomy before members observe the Blood Moon through telescopes. Sky Secrets is also hosting a Blood Moon Night in Choolaimedu, offering live-streaming of the eclipse for attendees who prefer not to use telescopes. Registration is open until 10 p.m. on September 7 for ₹499 per person, with walk-ins welcome. Prior registration is recommended for better planning and safety precautions.
