Families of victims from the Boeing crashes that claimed the lives of 346 individuals in Indonesia and Ethiopia are preparing to make a potential final plea for criminal prosecution. The US District Chief Judge Reed O’Connor is set to listen to arguments regarding a motion by the federal government to dismiss a felony fraud charge against Boeing. The charge is related to the crashes that occurred off the coast of Indonesia and in Ethiopia, sparking a global aviation crisis. Prosecutors have accused Boeing of deceiving government regulators about a faulty flight-control system that played a crucial role in the fatal flights which occurred within a short span of less than five months in 2018 and 2019.
