Families of Crash Victims Prepare to Plead for Boeing’s Prosecution

Boeing is facing charges of conspiracy to commit fraud in connection with two fatal crashes that resulted in the deaths of 346 people in Indonesia and Ethiopia. The families of the victims are preparing to make what could be their final plea for Boeing’s prosecution. After Boeing decided to plead guilty, U.S. District Chief Judge Reed O’Connor rejected the plea agreement made by the company in December. Judge O’Connor will now review whether to allow prosecutors to dismiss the conspiracy charge.
