Finnish President Urges Preparation for Peace in Ukraine

Finnish President Alexander Stubb called for preparing for the onset of peace, while stating that all conditions for a ‘just peace’ are unlikely to be met. Stubb made these remarks in an interview with the TV channel MTV Uutiset. ‘The reality is that we Finns also need to prepare for the moment when peace is achieved,’ said Alexander Stubb, specifying that all the conditions for a ‘just peace’ discussed over the past four years are unlikely to be met. He believes that the peace reached can be good, bad, or a compromise.
