A fire broke out on the territory of the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant in Kurchatov. This was reported by REN TV with reference to the station’s press service. According to the report, ‘The transformer unit, which is not related to the nuclear station, caught fire.’ The incident occurred during repair work, and the fire was extinguished by the emergency services. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported from the fire. The exact cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the authorities.
