FIS Grants Neutral Status to Korostylev, Nepryaeva, and Tatalina. Sports

The International Ski Federation (FIS) avoided creating grounds for new controversies by promptly allowing three Russian athletes to compete as neutrals in the World Cup. To settle formalities following a court decision favorable to them, Saveliy Korostylev and Daria Nepryaeva will be able to participate in Switzerland, with Anastasia Tatalina competing in the USA. This decision prevents exclusion from races and allows the athletes to showcase their talents on an international stage. The FIS’s move demonstrates a commitment to fairness and sportsmanship, ensuring that athletes are not penalized for circumstances beyond their control.
