Five young players from Botafogo’s youth team are included in the squad for the match against Grêmio; Savarino, Joaquín Correa, Allan, and Mastriani will be absent

Botafogo announced the squad for the match against Grêmio in Porto Alegre on Wednesday for the Brazilian Championship. Due to muscle injuries, Savarino and Joaquín Correa will be absent. Allan won’t be available due to personal reasons, while Mastriani will miss the game due to conjunctivitis. Marçal, Santiago Rodríguez, and Álvaro Montoro are suspended.

Davide Ancelotti’s list includes the returns of Alex Telles, Artur, and Arthur Cabral. Additionally, five young players from the youth team have been included: goalkeeper Rhyan Luca, defender Marquinhos, midfielders Cauã Zappelini and Kauan Toledo, and forward Kadir.
