Flamengo dismisses executive director Bruno Spindel

Flamengo has dismissed football executive director Bruno Spindel, who had been at the club since Eduardo Bandeira de Mello’s tenure. Spindel was the key figure in football contracts during Rodolfo Landim’s tenure. He worked closely with former football vice president Marcos Braz and led negotiations for reinforcements, focusing more on the bureaucratic aspects of the deals. The initial information about his dismissal was published by ‘Coluna do Fla’ and confirmed by UOL. However, with the arrival of President Luiz Eduardo Baptista, he lost his place in the football department. Spindel was no longer involved in the search for new signings and carried out internal finance and planning tasks. It was up to director José Boto to scout for new players for the Rubro-Negro.
