Flamengo Gets Closer to Second Billion with Fourth Libertadores Title

The team will now participate in the FIFA Intercontinental, which will bring in even more money. Winning the Brasileirão title, likely on Wednesday, will also add to the earnings. In the latest budget update, the board had already projected revenue of R$ 1.85 billion for the season. If this estimate is confirmed, it would be the club’s highest revenue in history. By September 30th, Flamengo’s gross revenue was at R$ 1.35 billion.

The continental victory also helps Flamengo distance itself further from Palmeiras in financial competition. Palmeiras had already surpassed the billion mark in 2024 through player sales and reached a further stage in the Club World Cup in 2025. Flamengo’s revenues also increased in other areas this year. The club secured the largest master sponsorship in Brazilian football with Betano, around R$ 250 million annually, improved profitability with Maracanã, and saw titles activate bonuses in other contracts, such as Adidas’.
