Ford Ranger Named Most Popular Pickup Among Britons

In the US, pickups have long held the top positions in the commercial transport segment. However, in a country like the UK, buyers have long preferred vans in the LCV segment – usually smaller ones that are easier to navigate through narrow city centers and small streets. Nevertheless, the Ford Ranger pickup is also popular among commercial transport buyers in the UK, and in October 2025, this model became the best-selling pickup in the country. According to new data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), the Ford Ranger became the best-selling pickup and the fourth best-selling light commercial vehicle (LCV) overall in the UK in October 2025. The month prior, in September, the Ranger also ranked first among pickups in the UK market and third among LCV segment vehicles.
