A van hired to transport a foreign delegation participating in COP30 activities was partially destroyed by a criminal fire in the early hours of Wednesday (5) in the Guamá neighborhood in Belém. The vehicle was parked in front of the owner’s house when it was hit by the flames, resulting in the complete destruction of the front part. No one was injured. According to residents, the attack occurred around 2:30 am on Nossa Senhora de Fátima street. The van was supposed to be used by an Indonesian delegation during climate conference-related commitments in the capital of Pará.
