Soviet and Russian actress Ksenia Kachalina passed away at the age of 54. Her death was announced by Russian actor Alexey Agranovich. He mentioned that he studied together with Ksenia Kachalina and was friends with her for some time. ‘She was a mystery, a punk, complex and alluring. It was her time and not her time. Ksyusha couldn’t adapt. She was smarter and weaker than time at the same time. She is no longer with us,’ Agranovich wrote. Ksenia Kachalina was born on May 3, 1971, in Saratov. She studied for two years at the acting faculty of the Saratov Conservatory named after Sobinov (1987-1988), then graduated from VGIK in 1995 under the guidance of S. Solovyov and V. Rubinchik.
