Gas Pipeline Explodes Near Omsk — Serious Fire Caught on Video

In a field on the outskirts of the village of Rostovka in the Omsk district, a gas pipeline exploded due to a gas leak. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. The governor of the region, Vitaliy Khotsenko, reported the extraordinary incident. ‘According to one version, there was a gas leak from the gas pipeline. Specialists from emergency services are on site. The causes are being investigated by law enforcement agencies,’ stated the governor. Video footage of the incident appeared on the ‘Shot’ telegram channel. Local residents reported that the explosion was powerful, heard in neighboring settlements, and the glow of the fire could be seen miles away.
