The start of the first phase of the Gaza peace plan began on Monday (October 13, 2025) with the release of prisoners. All 20 remaining prisoners in Gaza were freed after two years of captivity under Hamas and sent back to Israel. A permanent ceasefire in Gaza Strip aims to bring much-needed peace to the region.
