Last year, the top 100 arms-producing companies saw a 5.9% increase in their profits, surpassing the previous year’s growth. Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics led in revenue with $334 billion from sales of the American F-35 fighter jet. The SIPRI Institute revealed that various small and large conflicts worldwide have significantly boosted the profits of arms manufacturers, as sales have seen a surge due to the increased warfare.
