GM introduces Chevrolet Express Max EV to the market: more batteries, more benefits

General Motors has officially unveiled the Chevrolet Express Max EV 2026 – the new electric van for the Mexican market, where the Express Max lineup is sold exclusively locally. The model was created as part of the GM-SAIC alliance and is aimed at companies involved in ‘last-mile’ delivery. The van is offered in two versions: with a short and long wheelbase. For the first time, an Express Max modification with a low roof is available, improving aerodynamics and reducing energy consumption. The electric drive includes a front motor with 150 kW (204 hp) and 330 Nm. The SWB version is equipped with a 77 kWh battery and can travel 277 km, while the LWB receives an 88.8 kWh battery with a range of 302 km.
